The Jungle Theater creates courageous, resonant theater that challenges, entertains, and sparks expansive conversation. As a neighborhood theater with national impact, the Jungle focuses on telling stories that matter, with deep care and attention to detail. The Jungle was founded in 1991 by Bain Boehlke and counts among its credits a dozen Ivey Awards and numerous top production awards from critics. The Jungle’s annual budget is $2,000,000, and the organization has a total staff of eight. |

THE MANAGING DIRECTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES The Managing Director co-leads the Jungle Theater, reporting to the Board of Directors and working in partnership with the Artistic Director. The Managing Director is responsible for administrative and fiscal leadership of the theater and oversees the following:

COMPENSATION: SALARY AND BENEFITS The salary range for the position is $80,000 to $85,000. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. There is a competitive benefits package.
