Linda Ewing is a highly experienced consulting professional and senior nonprofit executive. She has a proven track record of success in leading and advising nonprofit organizations in developing strategies to support significant growth and embracing a problem-solving culture. Her substantial hands-on experience includes fundraising, strategic and organizational planning, marketing, public relations, community relations, and finance.
Linda built a successful executive career in nonprofit organizations, beginning with a senior management position with the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce. She subsequently joined Professional Fundraising Services, Inc., as a Senior Associate and led successful fundraising and capital campaigns for multiple clients including the Como Park Conservatory, the Carpenter Nature Center, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Leading Special Olympics Minnesota for 15 years as Chief Executive Officer, Linda directed the three-foldgrowth of the organization and increased individual donor contributions from $1 million to $4 million annually. Based on her nonprofit executive leadership experience, Linda entered the nonprofit consulting sector in 2006 as a senior consultant with Cincinnatus. During her tenure with Cincinnatus as a principal and partner, she led major strategic transformation, organizational assessment, executive recruiting and fundraising projects for numerous nonprofit clients, many of which engaged Cincinnatus in repeat assignments. Linda rejoined Cincinnatus in 2020 as a senior consultant, after serving in multiple interim executive director assignments for nonprofit organizations. As a result of her leadership, each organization gained substantial organizational effectiveness, refined its mission, and enhanced its long-term financial and operational sustainability. At Cincinnatus, Linda’s consulting focus will be on the following specific areas in which she has a high level of hands-on experience, both as a consultant and a senior nonprofit executive:
Linda received a BA degree in English Literature from St. Catherine University, and holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas. She also completed coursework in Leadership Theory and Development at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC. |
